Review: Mia, by Lelo

I’ve been a bad girl. Its taken me waaaaay to long to write this review. Mostly because I’ve been whacking off.

I am utterly in love with my Mia. This toy, or pleasure object, at Lelo likes to call their products, is an absolutely brilliant must have vibe for the girl on the run.

First: it’s a bullet vibe. I LOVE bullet vibes, and when I recommend a vibrator to a first time buyer, I recommend bullets for their universal appeal and ease of use.

Second: its a bullet that is self contained - that’s right, no extra wires wandering around, no battery case. You know why? Because the Mia is rechargeable, and she recharges in the hands down coolest way ever.

In your USB port.

That is correct. The Mia vibe charges in your computer’s USB port.

How fucking cool is that?

Those two things were what prompted me to ask for this vibe when I was given the chance to do a review for Eden’s Fantasys.

There is absolutely nothing about this vibrator that has not pleased and delighted me, from the packaging, the design, and use.

When I opened the box that held my Mia, I found a sleek black box that resembled a jewelry box more than any box I’ve ever gotten a vibrator in. It’s still sitting on my desk as I write this - I probably *will* wind up keeping jewelry in it.

Inside the box, nestled in plastic, was my pretty purple Mia. I plugged her in to charge right away while I read through the paper work that came with her. She’s very straight forward.

Press the + button to turn her on and to increase the vibrations, and the - to decrease them. To get to her pulsating settings, just turn her up to her highest setting, and then hold the + for five seconds. Then she’ll start pulsing, and you can cycle through the three pulse settings.

Mia also came with a little white drawstring bag carrying case, which I loved, and immediately used. I tend to keep Mia in my purse, because she’s small, discreet, doesn’t accidentally turn herself on, and I like to have a vibrator on me if I think there is any slight possibility of getting laid at all.

What? Should I get laid, I’d like to have an orgasm, and orgasms for me require vibrators. I like to be prepared.

The Mia is also very discreet. First of all, she’s very small. Way smaller than I expected, but damn does she pack a punch!

She’s also very discreetly shaped. If you look quickly, she could just be a tube of lipstick or some other makeup, which is nice.

Along with all this other wonderfulness, there’s MORE! She’s amazingly quiet, even on her highest setting. I mean, she’s not silent, but no vibrator is. On a scale from 1 to 10, 1 being not moving and 10 being ‘Hitachi with a muffler problem’, the Mia is a 3.

And I must say, Lelo knows how to market their vibrators! They just seem so classy, they’re gorgeous looking, and for what they do they are very reasonably priced!

Let me tell you, when I first saw Mia I was a little hesitant about its vibration power, but she did NOT disappoint. Not only is the Mia super discreet, rechargeable in a really cool way, and pretty, she works.

Really works. And this is another one of those ‘best parts’ of the Mia - she’s got a vibration level or pulsation speed good for just about anyone. You gentle vibration people get just as much out of the Mia as I, super vibration lawnmower girl. She’s great for teasing foreplay, and director clitoral stimulation to get the job done.

I can’t say enough good things about this vibe, I really can’t. The only thing I’d have to say is more of a note than a warning - she’s silicone, so make sure you don’t use her with silicone lube!
