The P-Style is an interesting device – it is a product designed to aid those of us with innie anatomy the ability to pee while standing up.
So far, I’ve been having some trouble with it – not the product itself, which is actually very good at what it does, which is directing urine in a controlled way while standing.
It works, when I can get myself to pee while standing. Apparently 25 years of training has made it extremely difficult for me to piss standing up. (Oddly enough, I can pop a squat in most places and pee outside without a problem, though I’d rather be able to stand, for a variety of reasons)
I don’t know why I can’t do it! I’ve tried everything. Water, waiting till I woke up with a full bladder overnight, running the tap and making hissing noises – I can’t get myself to make more than a slight trickle.
A well directed trickle, but a trickle, nonetheless. After two weeks, I still haven’t been able to just let ‘er go. However, I do feel confident that the P-Style will be able to finally handle it when I can get the floodgates open. The plastic is stiff, and stays in place, and I’ve managed to squeeze out a a trickle or two while my pants were on, pulling my undies out of the way, and everything was gravy.
The only thing I dislike about the P-Style is that it is rather conspicuous to carry around. This is a piece of hard plastic that is 7inches long. While I carry a bag that is at minimum large enough to hold either an NIV Bible or an omnibus of Lord of the Rings, and I found this a bit bulky to carry around. For those using it who don’t carry a purse, messenger bag, or man purse, it might be hard to keep with you. It doens’t fit in a pocket (though perhaps a cargo pocket might work?) nor would it fit in a tiny purse or a wristlet.
Overall, I like this – I can’t wait until I can finally really pee while standing with it!

Have you tried using it in the shower first, maybe? Since it sounds psychological it may help to do it for the first time/few times naked in the shower where there’s minimal chance of peeing on something if you were to “let the floodgates open.” Or maybe squatting with it until you are comfortable to do it standing up? That’s all I can think of anyway. I definitely wnat to try one of these!

I have tried it in the shower, and it still won’t go! Its been years since I’ve pissed standing up, and I don’t know why I haven’t been able to make it happen again. But damnit, I’ll make it happen. There are places I want to stand while peeing, and boys I want to pee on. So there, take that Bladder!

I somehow received a P-style in the mail that I never ordered, so I emailed Babeland about it, and they just told me to keep it. I have a slight shy bladder issue, and I cannot squat to pee, which results in lining toilets with lots of tp. I was hoping the P-style would solve my problems, but sadly, I just couldn’t pee standing no matter how hard I tried. This is the first review somebody has written on having the same problem I had. Glad I’m not the only one who couldn’t get it right the first time, but like you, I’m not giving up until I get it!
