A/K/A – HNT, my triumphant return, with marks!
So, when I’m away at D.O. Sex Camp, I like to try new things. When it comes right down to it, I’m a sensation junkie. I want to experience things to see what they feel like.
Now, I don’t really dig pain. That’s not my scene. Nor do I submit. For me, pain is something to be endured for other purposes. Getting my chest pierced for the Energy Pull ritual hurts, but it is what I have to endure to, as they say, ‘get to the good stuff’. The hike for the Labyrinth ritual hurt. It was dark, hot, raining, and we were walking on unknown, uneven, fairly rough terrain. But it was the path we had to take to put us in the right mindset for the ritual.
For me, enduring pain is very much a spiritual experience. I don’t do it because it gets my rocks off.
But as I said, I like to try things and see what they feel like, top or bottom, regardless of whether or not it gets me off. I did quite a bit of that this year at sex camp.
This all brings us to fire play.
I like fire. I like watching fire spinning, fire blowing, flaming juggling, what have you. I could stare into a campfire for hours. Its very primal, my fascination with fire. Fire gives life, and fire destroys. It almost has a life of its own. It was inevitable that I’d become interested in fire play within a BDSM context.
At camp, I’m lucky enough to be surrounded by people who are utterly amazing at their craft, and its a unique chance to try new stuff in a safe and sexy way. At some point, I found myself pool side talking to a guy who’s *really* into fire. I figured, nothing ventured, nothing gained, and asked if he would be so kind as to light me on fire at some point, and we worked out some plans, which got shuffled later, but such is life at camp.
Anyway, it was a fun experience. I sat and watched him play with someone before me, which really helped, since it gave me and idea of what was going to happen, and was also just uber hot, no pun intended.
There were parts I liked, of course, and parts I didn’t. As I said, I don’t really care for ouchie things in and of themselves.
I quit enjoyed having fire rubbed all over my naked body – on my back, it felt like I was getting an amazing warm massage, as he rubbed the fire out. None of it hurt whatsoever, though I was often surprised at the way things felt, and I spent a fair amount of time wiggling in what were surely very annoying ways.
I *really* loved when the…well, I don’t now the proper name for them so I’ll call them sticks that were on fire, were used to hit me. As soon as he would hit with them, he would put the fire out with his hand, alternating. I adored having this done on my butt, and it was funny to feel the fuel on the sticks fly up and hit my back.
But my favourite part of the whole thing was when he would take the lighted sticks, and use a spray bottled of fuel to send flames shooting over my body. It was so hot, and felt really really cool.
Then he asked if he could use the fire cups on my back, which were also fun. They were sort of ouchie, but sort of cool. The suction with heat felt very nice, though I didn’t really like the way it felt when he dragged the cups, still stuck to my skin, across my back. That was a little too hurty for my taste, but not enough that I’d call the scene. It was more of a mild discomfort than a wild crazy pain.
Then I flipped over, which was kind of crazy, because I could actually see myself on fire – let me tell you, nothing is weirder than looking down and realizing there are flames on your nipples! But again, it was really fun, and felt really nice.
I kind of wish I let him play with fire around my pussy and inner thighs, but I had just had some sex earlier in the evening and was rather chaffed. I had this idea that fire might not be such a good idea there at the moment, but who knows. There will always be next time. :)
All in all, I had an amazingly wonderful time playing with fire. I’m hoping to do it again, and it is also something I’d like to learn to do as well. Yay for new experiences, and hopefully, new skills!
